The cervix is an important additional indicator of fertility. It provides a lot of useful information helpful in determining your fertile days and the date of ovulation. Since not every woman feels comfortable examining her cervix, this is an additional, optional indicator. There are women, however, for whom cervical observation is especially recommended (How do I observe my cervix?) Some of them include:

  • Women with significant fluctuations of temperature during their cycle.
  • Women with insignificant or vague rises in temperature during ovulation.
  • Women having problems with fertile mucus (lack of mucus or an insufficient amount of it), or having problems observing it.
